Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety

The Digital Manifesto

Posted 22 April 2017 by CHIS

CHIS launched its “Digital Manifesto” in March 2015 and sent it to all the major political parties contesting seats in that year’s General Election to the UK Parliament. The manifesto asked the parties to commit themselves to the policy recommendations which it put forward.

The manifesto may be downloaded from here

This manifesto remains the most comprehensive account of the children’s charities’ collective views about what needs to be done to make the internet a better and safer place for children. To reflect some of the changes which have happened since an adapted version of the manifesto will shortly be available for the 2017 General Election.
