Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety

Letter to the Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chief Justice

Posted 17 January 2016 by CHIS

CHIS asks for a meeting to discuss introducing new law that would give victims of child abuse offences the right to obtain compensation and financial support for any necessary treatment. The measure is also intended to act as a further deterrent to potential offenders who, in addition to risking a caution or a conviction would now face their assets being put at risk.
