Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety

Introducing Internet Matters

Posted 6 July 2014 by CHIS

Internet Matters has been founded and promoted by the UK’s four major Internet Service Providers (ISPs); BT, Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk. We strongly believe in keeping families safe online. Alongside the long-running education programmes and network level parental controls for customers, provided by the four ISP’s, Internet Matters will provide information on child internet safety for parents to learn about it, talk about it and deal with it. Together, we will make this new portal an authoritative source of information to help parents become better informed and active in keeping their children safe online.

Internet Matters has been developed as a portal that gets parents to helpful information quickly. It will promote the best resources from established experts already working across the child internet safety field.
